Ariel Gail

Prof. Gail S. Goodman is the Distinguished Professor of Psychology as well as director of the Center for Public Policy Research at the University of California Davis. She was widely credited as the pioneer of modern studies of the memory of witnesses and also children's witnesses. Professor Goodman is an prolific writer and has been awarded many prizes and grants. She has provided consulting on research and policy to many agencies and departments around the globe. She acts as consultant for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) of the Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She has been a member of several professional associations, including the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. She was President of the American Psychological Association's three divisions, Division American Psychology Law Society, Division Developmental Psychology and Division Society for Children and Families Policies and Practice.
